Looking forward to attending Arab Health in January 2020
2 min read
What better way to begin the new year and at the same time a new decade than participating in Arab Health. It might be due to the fact that we are based in cold and dark Northern Europe, but arriving in Dubai in late January is always a bliss.
Arab Health is the largest gathering of healthcare and radiology professionals in the Middle East and North Africa. As such it is an absolute must for a company like FlexRay Medical to attend. It is so because you get a heads up on the new developments in healthcare and radiology. As a bonus, we also welcome the opportunity to get some much-needed rays of sunshine. In northern Europe, the sun is a rare quest this time of the year.
On top of all that, it is a first-class opportunity to meet existing and new customers and clients from the MENA region as the UAE VISA process is a bit more welcoming than that of EU or USA. The calendar is not yet entirely booked and you are more than welcome to reach out to me or Simon and we will find time to meet up. You can also stop by the Japengo Cafe outside Sheikh Saeed Hall. Here you will have a high probability of finding us sitting outside.

Arabian nights and magic carpets
These are part of the charm of Dubai. Well, maybe not exactly magical flying carpets but the Arabian nights are very much a thing. I hope to get a bit of time to visit the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa. It is 828 meters tall and it definitely feels like you can see most of the World from the top.
Or perhaps just a stroll at the JBR beachfront or marina? Nice views, good food and a comfortable atmosphere make it’s worth the drive if you stay downtown. For me, this has always been a favourite area to enjoy a relaxed evening after a hectic day at the convention centre.
